# Migration to New Token (Completed)

* **Timeline:** ~~Aiming to have began the migration by May 1st,~~ our token migration process is on track despite external delays. This critical step will transition our token holders to the new VDAO token seamlessly.
  * **edit: Token migration went off without any issues. The late migration deadline was 6.2.24**
* **Process**: Utilizing a custom-built Minter, token holders will deposit their VDB tokens and receive VDAO tokens instantly with a 1:1 ratio. Post-migration, a brief pause in trading will facilitate the LP migration from Netswap to Hercules DEX, ensuring a smooth transition with dedicated support from our team.
